Terms of Service

Mirai Kanai

Article 1 (Application)

These terms set out the conditions of use for Mirai Kanai, provided by Move for People, Inc.

Article 2 (Registration)

  • Anyone who wishes to use the service shall agree to these terms and register by the method we specify
  • You are obligated to provide accurate information at the time of registration
  • Persons under 18 years of age require the consent of a guardian
  • If you registered while under 18 and continue to use the service after turning 18, we treat your continued use as ratification of your use up to that point.

Article 3 (Prohibited acts)

  • Impersonating others
  • Registering false information
  • Unauthorized access to the service
  • Reverse engineering
  • Unauthorized use for commercial purposes
  • Acts that violate laws and regulations
  • Acts that cause nuisance to other users

Article 4 (Handling of data)

  • Input data belongs to the user themselves
  • We may utilize the data as statistical data after anonymizing it (please see the Privacy Policy for details)
  • We are considering ways to share the profits from providing statistical data with users (whether we do so, and how and when, will be decided by us)

Article 5 (Changes to or termination of the service)

  • We may change or terminate the content of the service upon prior notice
  • We will accept requests for disclosure of data before termination

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  • 1. Calculation results, statistics, AI output and other information shown in the service are for reference only, and we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or usefulness. The service does not provide financial advice.
  • 2. We may interrupt or suspend all or part of the service because of system maintenance, failures, problems with communication lines or other unavoidable reasons.
  • 3. If a user suffers damage for reasons attributable to us, we will compensate the damage directly and actually suffered by the user, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, up to the higher of (a) the total fees for the service actually paid by the user to us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage, and (b) the fee for one month of a monthly paid plan.

Article 7 (Intellectual property rights)

  • 1. All intellectual property rights relating to the service itself (software, UI design, trademarks, logos, etc.) belong to Move for People, Inc.
  • 2. The copyright of content posted or registered to the service by users (household data, requests, comments, etc.) belongs to the users themselves.
  • 3. Users grant Move for People, Inc. permission to use the content they post or register for the following purposes:
  • — Provision, operation, and improvement of the service
  • — Statistical analysis and generation of anonymized information (including provision to third parties, but limited to information that has undergone anonymization processing)
  • — Investigation and response for legal compliance
  • 4. Users warrant that the content they post or register does not infringe the rights of third parties (copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, etc.).
  • 5. The license to use granted under Paragraph 3 of this Article is limited to the period until the completion of deletion (90 days after withdrawal) following a user's withdrawal.

Article 8 (Withdrawal)

  • 1. Users may withdraw at any time through the prescribed procedure.
  • 2. Upon withdrawal, the user's account enters a "withdrawn" state, and Move for People, Inc. retains the data for 90 days from withdrawal. Within this period, the user can cancel the withdrawal and restore the data.
  • 3. After 90 days have elapsed from withdrawal, the user's own information (registration details, profile, consent records, household memberships, etc.) is completely deleted. Restoration after deletion is not possible.
  • 4. Because a household can be shared by multiple users, the household itself and the records within it (transactions, account information, document images, etc.) are not deleted by withdrawal alone. However, a household where the user is the only member is scheduled for deletion at the same time as the withdrawal and is completely deleted 90 days after the withdrawal. Households with other members are not deleted, in order to protect those users' data.
  • 5. However, the following data may be retained by Move for People, Inc. even after complete deletion:
  • — Information anonymized for statistical purposes (in a form that cannot identify an individual)
  • — Records whose retention is mandated by laws and regulations (transaction history, etc., based on applicable laws)
  • 6. We recommend that users use the "Data Export" function to download their own data before withdrawing.

Article 9 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  • Governing law: Japanese law
  • Jurisdiction: The Yokohama District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance

Article 10 (Use of AI features)

  • 1. This service uses AI technology provided by external AI providers for purposes such as reading receipts, providing household budget improvement advice, and aggregating requests.
  • 2. The output results of the AI are not guaranteed as to their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or usefulness. Users shall use the AI output results as reference information and make important decisions at their own responsibility.
  • 3. Move for People, Inc. has put in place contractual measures with AI service providers to ensure that data input by users is not used for training AI models.
  • 4. Content generated by AI is not included in the "service itself" referred to in Article 7, Paragraph 1 of these terms, and the attribution of its copyright follows the interpretation of current laws and regulations.

Article 11 (Referral program)

  • 1. Move for People, Inc. may provide a "referral program" that extends the free usage period when a user refers others.
  • 2. The benefits of the referral program (extension of the free period, etc.) are granted when the invited person meets the following conditions:
  • — Creating an account from the invitation link
  • — Continuously using the service for a certain period (7 days or more from registration)
  • — Registering a certain number (1 or more) of transaction records
  • — Not being determined to be fraudulent use (mass registration from the same IP address or same device, use of disposable email addresses, etc.)
  • 3. If fraudulent use of the referral program is confirmed, Move for People, Inc. may revoke the benefits already granted and suspend the related accounts.
  • 4. There are limits on the number of referral links that can be created per day and per month (details are displayed within the service).
  • 5. The content of the referral program (benefit content, achievement conditions, limits, etc.) may be changed in accordance with Article 15.

Article 12 (Information acquired from the National Tax Agency's publication systems)

  • 1. When reading receipts, invoices, etc., this service may use the Web-API function of the National Tax Agency's "Qualified Invoice Issuer Publication System" based on the registration number (invoice number) stated thereon to acquire business operator information (name, address, etc.) and use it to supplement transaction partner information.
  • 2. This service is based on information acquired using the Web-API function of the National Tax Agency's "Qualified Invoice Issuer Publication System," but the National Tax Agency does not guarantee its content. In addition, the published information may change, and its currency and accuracy are not guaranteed. Please confirm on the publication site yourself as necessary.
  • 3. This service may use the Web-API function of the National Tax Agency's "Corporate Number System" to verify transaction partner information. This service is created based on information acquired using the National Tax Agency Corporate Number System Web-API function, but the content of the service is not guaranteed by the National Tax Agency.

Article 13 (Paid services)

  • 1. Users may apply for a paid plan of the service by the method we specify after agreeing to these terms. A paid plan contract is formed when the user applies and pays the fee and we confirm the payment.
  • 2. The fee, payment timing and method, and contract period of each paid plan are as shown on the application screen in the service and in the Notice Based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
  • 3. Unless the user has canceled by the end of the contract period, a paid plan automatically renews for the same contract period, and the fee is paid at each renewal.
  • 4. Users may cancel a paid plan at any time by the method we specify. After cancellation, the plan does not renew, and the user can keep using the paid plan until the last day of the contract period.
  • 5. Even if a user cancels during a contract period, we do not refund fees already paid or settle them on a daily or monthly pro-rata basis, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  • 6. We may change the fees for paid plans. When we do, we will give notice in advance in accordance with Article 15, and the new fee applies from the first contract period that begins after the change takes effect.
  • 7. If a user applies for a paid plan through an app store such as those of Apple or Google, payment, automatic renewal and cancellation follow the methods set by that store.
  • 8. When a user withdraws, we will cancel any paid plan the user applied for directly with us so that it ends on the last day of the contract period. A paid plan applied for through an app store must be canceled in that store, as described in the preceding paragraph.

Article 14 (Exclusion of antisocial forces)

  • 1. Users represent and warrant that, at the start of their use of the service and in the future, they are not an organized crime group, a member of such a group, a quasi-member of such a group, a company related to such a group, a corporate racketeer, a person engaging in criminal activities under the pretext of social movements, a special intelligence violent group, or any other person equivalent to these ("antisocial forces").
  • 2. Users represent and warrant that they will not, by themselves or through a third party, make violent demands, make unreasonable demands beyond legal responsibility, use threatening words or deeds or violence in connection with transactions, damage our credibility or obstruct our business by spreading rumors or using fraudulent means or force, or do anything equivalent to these.
  • 3. If we find that a user has violated either of the preceding two paragraphs, we may suspend the user's use of the service or cancel the user's registration.

Article 15 (Changes to these Terms)

  • 1. Under Article 548-4 of the Civil Code, we may change these terms without individually agreeing with users in either of the following cases:
  • — When the change conforms to the general interests of users
  • — When the change does not go against the purpose of these terms and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the changed content and other circumstances relating to the change
  • 2. When we change these terms, we will set the fact of the change, the changed content and the date the change takes effect, and announce them in the service and on our website before the effective date.
  • 3. If the change is disadvantageous to users, in addition to the announcement in the preceding paragraph we will also notify users at their registered email address, and we will give these notices at least one month before the effective date.
